You can’t help yourself, or anyone when you are lost.
You can’t fulfill your mission in life when you are lost.
You can’t think clearly when you are lost.
And it’s okay if you don’t have that someone to care enough about you, to put light in your very dark place.
It’s no big deal if you don’t have that someone to tell you that you are worth it.
It’s all-right if you are caught up in the crevices of life and can’t figure out how to get out–Be your own someone, have courage to be that someone to boost you up. To be that wind to lift YOU UP.
Keep on moving, young, you! There are many dreams that are waiting to see the light.

I really have a hard time being my own cheerleader, and sadly, I seem to always crave that sort of attention from other people. I’ve learned long ago that I need to learn how to be the person who will always love me, so this post really strikes a chord in me. ❤

Meiji! I really loved your comment, and for being truthful. It is hard to be that someone! It really is. Maybe, you can start with listening to motivational speeches, and hopefully, their words will sink in and will become apart of you so that you can subconsciously boost yourself up! Maybe!

I have been listening to a lot of motivational speeches for quite some time now. But recently, I’ve been trying to strengthen self-discipline. ❤

Yes! It’s important.

Yes Oristel. Spending so much time & exhausting myself being a best friend to a good few who have more than enough support networks both formal & more family members compared to me. Especially before Christmas ensuring all my ‘contacts’ were sorted much like I would with my work caseload as a Health Visitor. I am seeing the light 💡

Great for seeing the light-that is also important!

Margaret, so inspiring to ones who may not realize how important it is to love oneself. . . Happy Spring! I am not often on WordPress since I am trying to spend time with grandies and other parts of my life! 🦋🌸

Small steps and I suppose anxiety about perfection or control is a catalyst for ‘running before I can walk’
